The South Korean has hit a new high with his new video. South Korean singer, PSY, has done it again. His newly released video,
Gentleman, already has more than 50 million hits. The dance video was
posted on YouTube at 9:00 p.m. (1200 GMT) on Saturday, thus, rewriting
video-sharing site’s records for single-day hits.
The dance video is a follow up to the South Korean singer’s monster
global hit “Gangnam Style.” In the first 24 hours, it received around 20
million hits, surpassing the previous record for single-day views of 8
million, set by Justin Bieber’s “Boyfriend” video.
The new video sees Psy wearing his signature sunglasses, dancing at
various locations in and around Seoul including a clothing store,
restaurant, library and a swimming pool.
With the new video, Psy has proved that he isn’t a one-hit wonder artiste.
