NEWS: “I can order a plate of food that is worth N500 and give the seller N50,000″ – Davido

David Adeleke known better as the artiste, Davido, recently said being charitable to strangers was his way of giving back to the society.

In an interview, he gave an example of a time he supported a woman with cancer because “I wanted to help give another person a second chance at life, my late mum didn’t have that. The woman’s death will affect so many people so helping save her is also helping make so many others happy,” he reportedly said.

“I always try to give anytime I see a chance to help or encourage people; I can walk into any restaurant even though I am a star, order a plate of food that is worth N500 and give the seller N50,000. That’s my way of giving back to the society, that’s my way of encouraging the hustle of fellow Nigerians.”
“I don’t do it for publicity, unlike the time I gave N1m to a cancer patient , the media made it well known but it is was not my intention to make it a media affair but due to the fact that I am a celebrity, it goes out there.”

NEWS: Lesbianism In Nollywood Is Not Stopping Soon – Vivian Pius

Despite the government’s frown on the illicit affair of same sex, and man
praying and fasting to see an end to the sudden surge in lesbianism in Nigeria`s movie industry, one of the actresses in Nollywood, Vivian Pius, has confessed that lesbianism is a norm in Nollywood that is not going to stop soon.

“Lesbianism has come to stay in Nollywood. Though it exists in other industries such as banking, medical and others, that of Nollywood is more open to the public because of who we are, as a society`s role models.

It has come to be seen as a cartel where those who belong to a group find it easier getting movie roles. Some of them can even make you rich overnight beyond your expectation. Those who are in it and know their onions can tell you better.

They get the best of jobs and are richer driving in big cars and seeing at the best of places. The same thing goes for the homosexuals.

The industry has become what many of us never dreamed of, going the way of Hollywood and other European movie industries. It is also in Alaba International Market. They control the industry. It is all about packaging. But there is still hope that those who are not patronizing them will still make it in Nollywood,”

NEWS: What I Call Love -Uche Jumbo-Rodriguez

Nollywood actress, Uche Jumbo recently turned a motivational speaker when she spoke about love. The wife of Kenney Rodriguez, Uche, may not be a professional lecturer or a renowned motivational speaker but she was able to give her own definition of what true love is.

“Love I would say is never enough in every relationship. There is the need for understanding, communication and above all, perseverance. That is what I call love.

To be able to persevere takes a lot; it includes agreeing and taking a lot of what you want to take. That is what I call love. All that people see as love, I don’t see. If I love you, will you be able to stay with me if I don’t have money anymore? If I fall in the hands of strange people that want to ruin my life, would you be there for me?

Will you be able to put up with all the ugly challenges in my life? That is what I call love,” the producer and actress, Uche, said.

NEWS: "No woman bought the Bentley for me" actor Aremu Afolayan

The actor and producer took delivery of a Bentley Continental GT car on April 7th and since then tongues have been wagging, with some claiming a sugar mummy bought the car for him. Aremu Afolayan has reacted to the speculations, insisting he bought the car with his hard earned money. Below is what he told an Encomium magazine reporter:
"I don't think a woman will love a man so much that she will buy a Bentley for him. If they think it's easy to date elderly women and get a Bentley, let them try.
